Smith Looks Forward To Colchester Test

Gary Smith has been somewhat reflective about our current run of form, saying we are just on the wrong side of results at the moment.

Speaking to the Official Site as we again go in search of a win, Smith talked about the tight nature of games at this level, and the requirement for giving yourselves a little bit of luck during games to spur on confidence and self belief, so a run like ours can be turned around properly.

'We just have to find a foothold in a result and in a game that just gives everybody that little bit of belief and sparkle that we had at the beginning of the season. The biggest disappointment at the moment, for everyone, is not that we're losing games and it's not that everybody is down in the mouth. It's the disappointment of losing the opportunity that we had created for ourselves.'

Smith continues to say that we now have to stop the rot, and bring an end to this run, so we can get back in the grove again and even if it's not to be this season - which is doubtful - at least we end the season on a high and start the next campaign with a belief again.
