Gray Leaves For Burton

Gray Leaves For Burton

Transfer listed defender David Gray has now completed a free transfer to Burton Albion.

The right back joined the club back in the summer of 2012 from Preston North End, and since being with us has gone on to make 58 appearances for the club. 46 of those appearances were last season.

Following the return of manager Graham Westley, this season especially, he has found his first team opportunities seriously limited as the gaffer tried to do other things, and it was agreed to place him on the transfer window earlier this season in order to invite opportunities for him to continue his career elsewhere.

Therefore the 25 year old has now moved to the Pirelli Stadium as Burton Albion bid for their own promotion success this season.
