Stevenage Announce Arlesey Town Friendly

Stevenage late last night confirmed a seventh summer pre season friendly, and it will be the first game we play on our preparation schedule.

We make the trip to the Armadillo Stadium to face Arlesey Town on Wednesday July 9th, and the first pre season fixture of the summer will kick off at 7.45pm.

Former Doncaster, Queens Park Rangers and Fulham defender Rufus Brevett manages the side and last season they finished 15th in the Calor League Southern Premier Division.

They do however have a strong link with Stevenage, legend Barry Hayles is a member of their playing staff, and last season the 42 year old scored 12 times for them and picked up a few awards for his contributions at their end of season awards ceremony.
