Stevenage Add Three Players

Stevenage Add Three Players

Manager Graham Westley has signed three new players ahead of the coming 2014-15 season.

We have agreed terms with Andy Bond, Sam Beasant and Harry Worley over the last couple of days.

28 year old Bond is best known for his time at Barrow and Colchester, making more than 100 appearances for both clubs, and he was part of the Barrow side that won the FA Trophy back in 2010 and he also comes with England C experience.

Goalkeeper Beasant joins us from Woking, where he played 40 times last season. The 26 year old initially began his career at Chelsea and has had spells with Wycombe and the Glenn Hoddle Academy amongst others.

25 year old centre half Worley will join us subject to international clearance having turned out 26 times last season for Newport County. He is also a former Chelsea youngster, and previously spent three years gaining Football League experience with Oxford, where he made 62 appearances.
