Stevenage Sign Lancaster

Stevenage Sign Lancaster

Ahead of the game against Wimbledon today, Stevenage have confirmed that we have signed Cameron Lancaster.

The 21 year old joins us on a free transfer having coming through the ranks at Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

He featured for us during a trial period over the summer, scoring in the three one victory over Tonbridge Angels in our pre season campaign, and following discussions a deal has now been struck for the striker.

Whilst news of his signing came late, the paperwork went through in time for him to have made his debut today against Wimbledon, as he went into the starting XI for the game straight away.

During his time at Spurs he made one senior appearance as a substitute back in January 2012, and he has previous experience having made four Football League appearances during a loan spell with Dagenham and Redbridge.

You would assume it's a contract until the end of the season, but further details have not been announced by the club at this stage.
